Hole Guide

1
Hole 1
Missing the fairway trap sets up an uphill pitch requiring length judgement.
2
Hole 2
Another testing drive to set up an approach from the angle of the dogleg. Favour the right with your second shot.
3
Hole 3
A chance for a big tee shot downhill. Still requires good touch on a high flighted second shot.
4
Hole 4
One of the world's great par 5 holes. Lots of ways to play it but all need straight measured shots.
5
Hole 5
Choose your club and make a good swing. Not for the nervous!
6
Hole 6
A well positioned tee shot to the corner of the left hand dogleg, leaves an iron shot to a mounded green.
7
Hole 7
A testing, picturesque par 3, requiring a carrying shot to reach the green.
8
Hole 8
A drawshot round the dogleg or a lay up level with the fairway bunkers, sets up a testing pitch shot.
9
Hole 9
Look at the wind. The carry over the trees needs the wind behind. The second shot is deceptive to a long green.
10
Hole 10
A sharp dogleg right requiring a precise drive and then an accurate mid iron.
11
Hole 11
Make a good carrying strike, better long than short.
12
Hole 12
Reachable in two with the right wind. A testing green to hit with any club.
13
Hole 13
A deceptive short iron, if you have made a good tee shot!
14
Hole 14
Can be reached in two, if not try to approah the green from left to right.
15
Hole 15
Great downhill par 3, a good strike saves a sandy fate.
16
Hole 16
The bunkers and trees on the right of the fairway are to be avoided. Uphill short iron plays long.
17
Hole 17
Another test of shotmaking, or more time on the beach.
18
Hole 18
A true par 5, anything long and short works on all three shots!
