Sunday, 29^th August 2009        Pestana Gramacho Golf Course

The Captain James Philippson Memorial Golf Tournament was held at Gramacho Golf Course in Carvoeiro, Portugal on Saturday 29^th August.

128 players fought the heat and each other for the Cup and the golf was followed by a hugely successful dinner, auction and raffle. 150 diners joined in the fund raising event and a huge total of €14,870 was raised.

Donations are still coming in, so it is likely that the final amount will exceed €15,000 and this will be on its way to the chosen charities for this event shortly.
